Clair Everett McNutt
“Rusty” finally moved out of Brush Valley, PA! Having been born on the farm and died on the farm, he has now relocated to his eternal home in heaven. Although he has left his old house here on earth, we know that he is with his new landLORD. Already moved into the new neighborhood are his parents, Robert V. McNutt and Violet E. McNutt and older brother William.
Missing him and waiting to join him in the new house is his wife of 65 years, Joyce Audrey McNutt. He always said that the best thing that ever happened to him was Audrey. His children will miss him, but are thrilled with his new location, Thomas and wife Susan of Brush Valley, Donald and wife Karen of Womelsdorf, PA, Clark and wife Liz of Birmingham, AL, Carol and husband Girish Kale from San Ramon, CA, Paul and wife Crystal from Houston, TX, Ruth and husband Phil Weaver from Brush Valley, and Daniel McNutt, Esq., from Las Vegas, NV and Rusty’s brother, Glenn, and wife Jan. He will also be missed by many nieces and nephews.
He was a WW II Army veteran and after serving in Italy, returned to Brush Valley to marry his high school sweetheart. Rusty loved his 34 grandchildren and their spouses, plus 15 great-grandchildren and counting!! He enjoyed hunting, farming, trucking and hosting picnics. He liked to travel around North America and internationally.
Rusty was a charter member of the Calvary Evangelical Free Church in Indiana, PA and seeking the approval of God was his only desire. His family knows that he will love his new home.

Friends and family will celebrate his new address at Lefdahl’s Funeral Home Tuesday 1-4 and 6-9pm. The se1vice will be held Wednesday 11am a t Calvary Evangelical Free Church at 100 Ben Franklin Road in Indiana, PA. Interment will be private.
